12/3/2014 – talking about sex and attachment with the Mphil

Today marked my final day teaching in Sri Lanka, and it went off with a bang. I delivered two half day teaching sessions to the Mphil clinical psychology students at the University of Colombo. The morning session was on talking to clients about sex, which led to some really interesting discussions. In the afternoon, our focus was on parent-infant attachment, and the importance this has for lifelong mental health and wellbeing. It was a real privilege to teach the students on two topics that I am passionate about – a great way to end my time working with Samutthana.

It’s been a fantastic experience and I’d like to say a huge thank you to the whole Samutthana team for all their hard work and support during our time in Sri Lanka.
